An Architectual Study at HS Düsseldorf

In studies, tasks are set from a wide variety of perspectives – they open and sharpen our eyes: for everything that is possible. While clients in a professional environment usually specify an approximate vision and function of a product to be manufactured, here it was the other way around.

How far does this precise material specification and undefined function carry our creativity?

For Max, it resulted in a red sideboard set on stilts with two special execution details:

First, the integration of two sliding doors that run in a single groove.

And secondly, the continuation of the design element of the striking red color of the furniture body. Both miter springs and foot heels were made of the same red MDF.
